PHOTO OF THE DAY (No, um... not Japan, sorry!)
Edited on Mon Nov-21-11 08:48 PM by AsahinaKimi

Is that a bloody giant ax under your coat or ... When an Ohio man named Bill Morrison walked into Corky's Thomastown bar in Akron with this oversized implement under his coat, a woman called 911 and said he looked suspicious. The fact that the ax is made of rubber and that Morrison was going to sell it to a friend at the bar did not prevent police from jailing him overnight on a charge of inducing a panic. Here, Lt. Rick Edwards holds the confiscated prop.

3. You can carry a gun in bars here in Ohio, no reason to be scared of an axe

5. Whole thing reminds me of when I was a cop
I was working in the main jail one night, had a guy in a special holding cell next to my desk, and me and one other deputy had ten inmates that had just come in. We had to search them and then put them into various different cells.

Guy in the special cell was yelling at them and telling them to riot and take us out, 2 against 10, etc.

I laughed and told my partner, what can we do - arrest him?

We just let him rant.
