Lifting his head from his sick bed to call in, Morning Schmoe proves once again
that he is charged by Grover and company to always get in the latest talking points.

The program is so much better with out his strident, nasty, conversationally bully mouth.

Double yuck.

1. Rude, interrupting, and wrong.
He loves having gRover on, and protects gRover's ass when he is not.

2. It was sickening.Even more sickening is how quickly Mika
falls into line when Daddy Joe scolds her.I rarely watch that show and when I do my blood pressure suffers.

4. Mika has been so much better with Joe gone!
Yesterday she was mad as hell about UC Davis, sputtering with rage...then she started in on the repuke lineup...she actually said "who would even want to LIVE in this country under them?" I was amazed because just the day before, on the phone with my daughter in CA, I said the same thing!

10. I can tell Mika hates being clammed-up by the Schmoe.
Maybe she is just hanging on hoping he finally gets bored and quits or NB$C decides to give her her own show. Hey Mika: talk to Keith about a 6pm show at Current.

15. Well she can bat her black false eyelashes all she wants, but in my opinion she is
a money whore.....you know...Not willing to find another job but stays on Scar because of the dough. For as much as I would like to see her on Current, I highly doubt she would make the move

12. What I'd like to know is why was everyone talking down to her like she was a little kid?
She's more quick-witted on a bad day than most of the panel normally is.

6. Scar is the master of the GOP message. The presidential campaign next year
promises to be one of the ugliest in terms of TV ads and the likes of programs that have a Schmoe spewing GOP talking points.

8. As I said in another thread, I wish Gene Robinson was at the table when Scar called in.

The guys who were there just froze on camera while this disembodied voice railed against the VERY IDEA (harumph!) that Grover Norquist held any sway over congressional rethugs.

13. In political circles we call what Scar did, a filibuster. I think Eugene was
sidelined so he couldn't respond with facts.. The producers of the show would have their heads chewed off if they left Eugene at the table...calculated move for sure.

16. I've watched that show, for the first time, for about a week now
Scarborow hasn't been on it in the several times I've seen it in the last week. Before that I had never watched it at all. He hasn't been there anytime I've watched and to tell the truth I thought it was a good TV show. The lady, the hostess, she does a very good job. The people around the table are no fools either. Then this morning he called in and I have to tell you, withing a minute I had to turn it off.

talking points ... I'd watch Fox.
