collect your, what..., 3rd golden parachute from a failed executive position? Then write a book about what a fabulous executive you are and go in to fleece your next employer.
on edit: typical typos

25. Yeah, that boneheaded idea to announce the end of the HP hardware |
|
which is really what they always did best, IMO, was enough to kill the sales of what was out there on the shelf as people became alarmed about not being able to get it serviced or the warranties honored.
That dumbfuck move alone should have gotten her canned.

2. They could start by redesigning their crappy printer software that harasses you for all eternity |
|
to make software upgrades that no longer exist.

Before the Carly destroyed the company.

23. HP went to shit under Carly Fiorina. No vision beyond simple greed. Meg Whitman is no better. |
|
Meg is simply Carly 2.0. She'll crash the company into the ground if it means she'll come away wealthier, and the sad part is she only got the job because she became buddy-buddies with the people on the board of directors who appointed her.

28. I think the paperless mentality has taken over. |
|
My all-in-one HP printer is used for scanning primarily...I can't remember when I printed out something as a record. Even the fax part of the HP printer isn't used anymore...I can send an attachment to my e-fax address which sends it to a fax machine. I suspect that the revolution to paperless documentation is killing their printer business.
But HP has had one doozy of a year. They buy WebOS, start making tablets, then dump them below cost. Then they decide they might keep it going with a different OS? They announce that they are exiting the non-commercial PC business...then change their mind. Seems like they are having a problem with their vision thing.
