If they had had pepper spray to use, the turkeys would have either run or gone berserk and killed the cops! My money is on the turkeys.
I got chased by a nasty old rooster when I was little. I had to whack the bastid with a stick until he would leave me alone. Thy can hurt you with their spurs.
