Bachman leaked classified information or lied.
http://www.nationaljournal.com/fact-check-how-serious-is-the-threat-to-pakistan-s-nuclear-program--20111122

Bachmann serves on the House Intelligence Committee, so her comments on Pakistan’s nuclear program represent either a news-making leak of previously unknown classified information or another in her recent series of seemingly-random, and highly inaccurate, public comments. During the CNN debate, Bachmann said that 15 Pakistani nuclear sites were vulnerable to jihadist attacks, and that six of the sites had previously come under some form of Islamist attack. U.S. intelligence and military officials believe that Pakistan has 15 nuclear sites, but no U.S. official has publicly said that all of the sites were vulnerable to militant attack or confirmed that any of them had previously come under any form of jihadist attack.

1. Just how scary would it be to have her as President? That would
be the ultimate in fear.

4. spurious argument. obviously only a trial with a judge cleared to know the classified information
can truly and (reasonably) definitively make that determination.

the rest of us either don't have that classified information and so can't prove it, or do have that classified information and can neither confirm nor deny without (also) breaking the law.

5. If it was not reported in the media it was learned during a briefing

she was given(assuming she didn't make it up but it's too specific for her rambling mind). The briefings she receives in private as part of her position are in fact classified at some level.

6. most likely you're correct, but it's very hard to know definitely.
it's theoretically possible that someone in the know told her and it wasn't classified, just not widely publicized.
it's also possible that she was making the statement based on someone else's uninformed or disinformed "analysis".

the problem with classified information is that you can't just google it and verify, yup, that's classified....
