Americans probably had no idea that six of Pakistan’s nuclear sites had come under jihadist attack. That is, until Republican presidential candidate spilled the beans on national television Tuesday.

During the CNN-hosted Republican presidential debate on national security, Bachmann, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, revealed that 15 nuclear sites in Pakistan were vulnerable to attack, and attempts had already been made on six of them.

CNN moderator Wolf Blitzer asked the candidate if she agreed with Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s pledge that he would send no foreign aid to Pakistan.

she was lying... yes there were a couple of attacks near a Pakistan nuke facility but none were serious and there was never any danger of an actual breach. This was just another lame attempt to scare the crap out of everyone.

I googled pakistan attacks on nuclear sites and read on multiple websites information detailing at least three of the attacks that was published online way back in August. 53,000,000+ hits.

When you have a clearance they dont give you a caveat that says it's ok to spill the beans if someone else already has. If some magazine speculates, then Bachmann's revelation would give official credence.

23. I am glad you asked. If Rep Bachmann revealed confidential information, she should be treated

like any other that does such. And she should be disqualified from running for the presidency. Good grief, what could we expect of her with the knowledge of the presidency.

And if Bradly Manning did reveal confidential information, he should also be treated like all others that do such and not locked in solitary confinement and tortured without a trial.

And in each case the potential damage do to the release of the information should be considered. If the information was made confidential only to hid a crime, that should be taken into account. Our treatment of Bradly Manning is a disgrace to the very idea of freedom and America.

So why are Rep Bachmann and Pvt Manning treated differently? One represents the elitist authoritarians (the 1%) and the other represents us that want freedom from authoritarianism (the 99%). And apparently you sympathize with the authoritarians.
