Is Motiva Refinery in Port Arther Tx, "Pollution Capital USA"
Swear to Gawd - they dig down 2 feet any where in the refinery and they hit thick Black Oil soaked earth every where they dig. We are so close to the Gulf of Mexico you know this black goo has been seeping into the gulf for decades.

But yesterday was a first, they hit a couple of pockets that were so loaded down with Caustic Oil they set off the H2S alarms a couple of times.

BTW: Cameras and Camera Phones are strictly forbidden in this facility and grounds for immediate termination - not too hard to figure out why

1. If you were to dig in any of those old refinery/drill sites you would get
a nice hydrocarbon cocktail.

2. Worked in Refineries on and off for years - never seen it this bad
and certainly never seen it set off H2S monitors before
