5. There was one that was inappropriate.

We have no business being in anyone else's wars. We should not be starting them either.
Why should we be thankful for our troops invading, bombing, toppling governments and killing innocent people in our name?

6. Where they are and what they are doing is the fault of the politicians..

And the business interests that drive what the politicians do.

Don't blame the troops for what they are told to do.

I for one am thankful for them, I'd be even more thankful if they were doing things that actually made our country more secure but that's not their fault.

places far from home. The politicians put them there.
