What's your favorite snack item while waiting for turkey? |
|
I made cherry pie and deviled eggs (Old Bay Seasoning, sweet relish, minced shallots, light mayo). We also have pumpkin pie waiting for slicing.

9. Mmmmmm. I roasted some and used them in my cranberry chutney. |
|
My chutney has dried fruits, fresh cranberries, cayenne pepper, and fresh ginger. It is sweet with a nice kick. The pistachios add crunch and nuttiness.

with the munchies ;-), i made some chocolate chip cookies, but also have chips/salsa, and some veggie chips. that should hold everyone till 3 (there's only 5 of us-two sons, gson, one son's gf, and me). for the big meal: turkey/stuffing, mash/gravy, green beans, rolls, green salad and pumpkin pie. yummy!
happy thanksgiving! :hi:

10. It's just a few of us as well: |
|
Hubby, two kids, me and M-I-L. Niece and her son might swing by later. Dinner close to 2. The rest of the day is for snacking on remainder.
Oh yeah, a baked sweet potato for me and M-I-L.
