Happy Thanksgiving to my DU family.

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. It seems that people, all over the world are waking up to the realization that they are just as important as anyone.

Here in America we have #Occupy. This movement gives me Hope and it seems that millions of us are just as hopeful as me. While hope is not usually a thing that we are thankful for, IMO, this hope gives us all a great reason

To be thankful. Hope is something that keeps us all going. Yet the hope that the citizens of our world are saying and acting on their, our, need to be free and overthrow their (our) oppressors is a world wide reason to be

thankful. Of course, we have a lot of work and sacrifice ahead of us, but the possibilities are endless. The end of oppression. The dawn of a new age. An age of personal freedoms, where no one but ourselves "profit" (at least obscenely) from our toil.

An age where individuals are valued more than the institutions that they belong to. Compassion and Respect will be the engine that runs the machine. That is worth being hopeful and Thankful for.

Have a great day and try to help a fellow human being today. So many of you have helped me and again Thank You.
