Which is worse?

Look at control of MSM.

Look at deaths in the name of keeping up profits (BP & Massey Energy & Big Pharma
& Big Tobacco come immediately to mind).

Look at larceny of funds held in public trust.

Look at deprivation of homes & savings (Banksters, subprime mortgage securities &
rating agencies & tax cuts for the wealthy leading directly to the Great
recession come to mind).

Look at freedom of expression (here, 99% of our voices can be drowned out by one
per cent with billions and billions of dollars).

Do you really think you can change things with the vote when neo fascist Supreme
Court Ideologs tell us money is really speech and corporations have the unlimited
right to sway the voting process? This, when they claim to be "strict constructionists".

2. Congress has the power, but Congress uses its power to
do the bidding of the very, very rich and the corporations that fund congressional campaigns.

It doesn't do any good to have potential access to all that media, all that information, doesn't do any good to have the opportunity to exchange information and ideas -- unless we use it. Good point.

I agree that it is still worthwhile to vote but I would like a better choice of candidates.

I'm doing my part to get there, but we have a long way to go.
