My wife still loves me after 30 years, and it hasn't been easy.

I still have a job that pays shitty wages, but it's a job.

2. I am thankful.

Both my daughters were able to be with us this week.

My wife and I are still together after 34 years. It hasn't always been easy with us, either. I doubt most people married for decades would say their marriages had always been easy. I'm especially thankful for the deeper relationship that has been formed by working through those times.

We have faced pretty heavy economic challenges in the past, but have been fortunate to have escaped most of the personal economic impacts which have devastated so many in recent years.
