One of them was a wheelchair bound man who came back this morning to say that "I was taken to a garage by the police, beaten for three hours and then taken to a hospital". — at City of San Diego, Civic Center Plaza, Suite 200, San Diego, CA 92101.

around the world, and I don't know how much your average Joe really knew about it, but I'm sure a lot of them saw Woody Allen's Bananas at least, what was their reaction when they heard their government was teaching torture and murder and the stifling of democracy abroad? Did they think it was OK? Did they think it was necessary? Did they think who cares, it's over there, not over here? Did they really think it can't happen here?
