I've never heard anyone complain about the cost to the tax payers of the military fly overs that NASCAR has at all of it's events or the fumes and pollution that is not monitored by the EPA.

Some times wing nut thinking reaches astrological proportions. Meaning pulling the logic out of your ass. Astrophysical is a verb meaning the 'act' of pulling the logic out of your ass.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

2. I never heard them bitch about any of Laura Bush's numerous excursions, either.
Or, their daughters' trips. Or, their weekly vacations to Texas, Kennebunkport, or where ever else they went. Nor, did I ever hear them peg every damn trip out of the country as a "vacation", whether or not it actually was. Bunch of fucking hypocrites. But, we already knew that.

5. Exactly. They are blatant about it.
OK for Republicans, a scandal for Democrats. They don't even try to pretend there's a difference in the cases.

9. I imagine that 'they' would not find fault with the Bush excursions. However, I betcha
the opposing team did.

It's the nature of the beast. The ones in power are criticized by the members of the party not currently in power. One could probably find some of that criticism even here using the search feature, if one were so inclined.

11. But there is no liberal version of Limbaugh or Fox News etc.
That's the point. The RW gets huge and constant exposure of their negative memes to millions of people. The RW's "fringe" ideas are mainstream.

That's on a totally different scale and nature to DU. DU doesn't speak for the Democratic Party nor is it broadcast to a huge audience. If there was a DU TV News network then you might you have a point.

(If you were on DU during the Bush era you would know that DU and liberal "fringe" ideas were ignored by the media and major politicians).

4. Or the thousands of times when Bush
would find something that "needed" a Presidential Appearance that just HAPPENED to be in a town where a Republican fundraiser would be that night.

10. Guys like Limpbag - all they do is say whatever we do is bad.
That's their line of thinking - it's the mentality that high school bullies use. Anything they don't like or don't understand is always bad. It's disgusting.
