13. Not exactly. When I took psychology...
According to theory, anxiety is the basic psychic energy that drives an organism that leads it to satisfy those drives. In short, no anxiety -- no activity.

Stress comes from the inability to shed anxiety, a frustration of the ability to "work it out," by productive means.

42. Time regularly has an American cover story/picture that's more soporofic
I noticed this when I used to visit relatives overseas. Time on the news stand in the U.S. was diff. than the one in Europe. I also found that people in Europe were better informed, on avg. than most Americans.

religion and the right wing were not as pervasive, tho conservatives have gained some traction in Europe since 911.

67. It's been done
The hipsters that go dumpster diving for dinner (and eat like kings)

Some people will do anything for a free meal.

That even includes diving into the nearest dumpster in search of food treasures tossed as trash.

A bunch of hipsters in Brooklyn, New York, came up with the rather grubby way of filling their bellies when they discovered that grocery chains often toss expensive food simply because it is still left on the shelf at the end of the day.

Dumpster-diving college student Ashley Fields, 23, of Bushwick, told the New York Post: 'Doing this saves me hundreds of dollars a month on groceries.'

Partially because of the obvious difference in the cover story but also because of this outrageous claim that anxiety is good for you. Christ on the cross, anxiety has been the plague of my entire life and has kept me from living fully like normal people can. No, negative thoughts and the accompanying physical symptoms are not fucking good for you.

Crap, I could scream.

I was in Germany last summer and got to watch CNN International for a week -- I could NOT believe they were in any way related to the American one we know so well...It was just straight news on a global scale, in-depth analysis and the corporate spin was kept to a minimum...No fluff, sensationalist celeb-humping, no screechy Nancy Grace or any of that...

If Americans had ANY idea of the quality CNN could deliver instead of the dumbed down wannabe Fox shit, there would be a riot
