3. A few things you can do in person today;
Non-violent civil disobedience training and role-playing today, starting at 10 a.m. on the South Plaza.
The Raid Committee meets today from 12-3 p.m. on the North Steps
The General Assembly convenes tonight at 7;30 p.m. on the South Steps (for the most up-to-date information on resistance strategy and tactics)
The Action Committtee holds a 24-hour peace march around the perimeter of City Hall Block beginning at 12 midnight tonight. (Idea is that marchers will not get arrested b/c outside of any police lines).

15. A couple other things you can do if you are able to visit the
site in person:

5 p.m. - A candlelight vigil at LAPD headquarters across the street to protest police brutality at our fellow Occupy sites. Organizers ask that you bring a candle for yourselves and extras if you have any.

All Day - The Bail Affinity Group has issued an urgent appeal for funds to bail out those planning on being arrested to resist the eviction. As of last night's GA, the Bail Affinity Group had $240 cash on hand.

16.  I wouldn't put it past them

to wait until 3 or 4AM tomorrow morning to attack, when most have gone home/are sleeping in their tents, or to wait a day or two and to attack without notice, so that it would be difficult for us to gather our numbers.

Cynical? I've lived here too long to not be cynical about LA "authorities", and the "wait until early morning trick" has been done in other cities.

http://www.scpr.org/news/2011/10/20/29498/villaraigosa-occupy-la-can-stay-now/

Last week, the City Council passed a resolution supporting Occupy LA, and Council President Eric Garcetti told protestors “stay as long as you need.” Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is not making a similar commitment.

Breaking News (11-25-11): Mayor Villaraigosa announced late Friday afternoon that on Sunday Night, one minute after midnight, the City will be closing the OccupyLA encampment, which has been on the grounds of LA City Hall since October 1
