"horrendous cuts", but, as he reminded people, this was a reduction in "increases".
(was on a station I can't remember the other day).
Now, when the Repugs start saying about the "Democrats/Obama" SLASHING the Defense budget, remind them that it's a reduction in their spending increases, just like they "correct us" about the "liberal sacred cows" ...
