Breaking News (11-25-11): Mayor Villaraigosa announced late Friday afternoon

Note that this is the day after Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving day, signs were put up in the compound stating that the area now had "Hours" for use, with a curfew. So, now we have an eviction notice on a holiday weekend. Guess what? Courts are closed until Monday morning. Guess when #Occupy has to leave? One minute into Monday morning.

(insert anguish and outrage HERE)

This is not over. There are some interesting legal issues coming up and the National Lawyers Guild are on the case.

We cannot allow them to make up the rules as they go, not at this Constitutional level.

Edit:

"City officials have also learned from others' experiences, and say they plan to 'secure' the park area while it is being rehabilitated."
