2. An interesting side note ... a few years ago, I believe that it was at the time that the

economy started the meltdown (2007) ...

a RW sub for the morning RW blatherhead on the local RW radio powerhouse was complaining about how the "liberally-biased media" (New York Times) was pointing out that the sales from Black Friday/Christmas buildup were not what the stores were expecting. He went on and on about how the "liberally-biased media" WANTED the economy to fail (or at least give the impression that the economy was failing).

Flash forward to about two months later.

Wal-Mart and a number of other retailers release their figures for the Christmas spending ... way down from what they had hoped.

Seems to me like the New York Times was right, and the RW sub was exposing his propaganda ...
