Just a word of advice for 18 year old Emma Sullivan. I know she is only 18 and may want to get her kerfuffle with her principal and Gov. Thinskin-back, but it is a good lesson to learn.

They don't care about the actual apology, it's the whole idea of making your adversary do the Walk of Shame and humiliation.

Like Dick Durbin crying on the Senate floor.

1. I simply wouldn't give in to their demands, and I'd consult a lawyer to see what I could do to fight
What the school is doing is sheer, utter, nuts.

She doesn't have a damned thing to apologize for.

It's their bad form to make a person apologize for giving an opinion.

They're basically being bullies to her.

You stand up to bullies.

2. I love Emma Sullivan for what she did. We need to support her by posting this everywhere
And we need to start contacting Brown-ugly-back's office and telling them they're assholes, and remind them they're not living in the Third Reich in which people can be made to shut up. What an ass!!!!!!

3. The fascist principal should be canned.
And of course KS taxpayers should be outraged that they are paying for staffers to search the internets.

4. If she had tweeted that Obama sucked ...
she'd have her own show in the (allegedly) "liberally-biased media" by now ...

5. And I'm sure many a Young Republican does just that every day
and the White House does not use paid staffers to comb through the internets to hunt them down.
