1. Can we clone Elizabeth Warren to also run here?

Hopefully he can get behind a new candidate, and maybe do some campaigning...

3. I am sure we have plenty of good people to run there.

Liz Warren is far from being the only Democrat in MA.

I am not sure if any of those who were running again Warren in the primary are in this district (and still are for some), but they are all excellent Democrats, and I am sure there are plenty more.

9. Yes, thank goodness.
I hate to see Rep. Frank go, but that sadness is tempered by the fact that his replacement will likely be equally fit for the job. Maybe even more so.

10. Sorry, I May Be Confused
Is Frank not running for President in 2012 or not running for his current seat in 2012? OP wasn't clear.

If he is not running for his senatorial seat again, then that's sad, because we need people like Frank in the senate. I assumed OP meant that Frank was not running for President in 2012, as many on DU have been pushing for.

17. He's not a senator; he's a member of the House
and has been for many years.

5. That sucks. No one has taken more of an undeserved public beating than
he has. He has been strong in the face of a nonstop propaganda machine.

He's earned his retirement, unlike many in congress. I hope he enjoys it.
