Sorry, but when I see people with Masters Degrees getting laid off through no fault of their own, those "They Should Have Made Better Decisions" or "They Just Didn't Work HARD Enough" standbys the Randroids use become an instant pile of gerbil shite. There is no "Super PhD" to achieve and employment isn't a game of musical chairs.

to walk up to people supporting candidates he doesn't support and say "dooga dooga dooga", and then post that on You Tube, when he knows perfectly well the person he did that to had no idea why he was doing it.

Consider that there are those with no philosophy whatsoever, political or otherwise. They merely amuse themselves with the circular manipulation of fecal matter - shit-stirrers, if you will.
Perhaps they were traumatized during potty training. (Indulging in a bit of over-analysis, myself :) )

28. what is wrong with Tom Tomorrow? |
|
is it the fact then, when the repubs were in power, he called it like it is- yet once the democrats took power and he called it like it is, he got thrown under the bus with Keith Olberman (and many other sweethearts of this site, until they didn't tow party line)?
Oh, and I already know my english teacher would give me shit about the previous run on sentence.

in this day in age, is giving the republicans every thing they want. Our side CONSISTENTLY debates from the side of weakness. We fold quicker than cheap suits.

33. yes, we have supposedly won some victories... |
|
like the so called health care reform act. At a minimum, we wanted a public option. That is where we started the debate, and of course, lost it. Let's say I want to sell something for $100 (public option), and the republicans want to buy it for $50 (absolutely no change). Instead of starting the haggling at $150 (universal health care), we start at $100, and are surprised the republicans talked us down to $75 (federally mandated health care with ZERO regulation over cost). Oh well, at least the dems will get good campaign contributions from the insurance lobbies.

Every time the party does "woodchuck" tactics, we lose. Don't you get that YET?
It doesn't work to avoid confrontation with the 'Pugs and keep obsessing with finding the non-existent "center".

then Pragmatism is doing what you are told. So there is nothing inherently good about being pragmatic, and it can be used as an excuse to cave in to the powers that be.
