An "Andy Griffith Show" reference? Really, Gov. Pawlenty? |
|
Why not just go all the way and compare Obama to Sid Caesar or Steve Allen?

6. Barney meant well and had a really good heart. He bumbled a bit but was |

truly a "hero" when it counted. And he had good taste in women.....(Thelma Lou).

4. I thought Dubya Bush was the Barney Fife of presidents! |
|
Obama is the James Dozier of presidents.
Dozier was a US Army brigadier general who was the Southern European Task Force (US forces stationed in Italy) chief of staff. In December 1981, he was captured by the Italian Red Brigades terror group and held for 42 days, until the Italian special forces got him out.
And if Obama is the James Dozier of presidents, it follows that Norquist and the GOP are the Red Brigades of American politics.
