The Republicans are "lethal fools." And the Democrats are too afraid to say it. |
|
Thus, the lethal fools keep getting away with starting fires in every corner of the house.
Eventually, they'll succeed in burning the place down.

1. And what is it, specifically |
|
that makes the Democrats afraid to say it?
Will they lose support and cooperation from the corporate Fascists? If so, then who is actually in control? Who, then, is really in control? Are we simply barking at a realistic facade when we respond to the current political game show presented to us?
If Democrats are enabling Republicans through passivity or tolerance, then what is the message behind the pretenses?

2. All good questions. But the fact that no Dem politician can speak the truth about the GOP |
|
(with the rare exceptions like Grayson, who are immediately targeted for removal from office) tells us that we're not really given actual "options" to "choose" from.
In any meaningful sense of "choose."
I think where that leaves us tends to frighten people. Because it means withdrawal from the system, in various ways.
