I do wish he would oppose Obama in the primaries. I know he would not win, but it might wake Obama up.

6. As do I, but I do think (and I'm thinking lots here agree) that the administration |
|
has kind of dissed Dean. I've come to really hold him in the highest regard - he's a good man and he 'gets it'.

15. I would prefer that it were the other way around, that Obama was endorsing Dean. |

Thanks, Mr. Dean. I'm sure your supporters will take your advice and support the President, too. I think I'm sure. Well...maybe they will...

8. Yes Howard is a stand up guy. |
|
I can't understand his support in the face of each snub he's endured. He is much more magnanimous than I would be able to be.

14. Of all the words of mice and men, |
|
the saddest are ‘It might have been.’
How true.
Things would be so different now if Dr. Dean had been our President. One silly, enthusiastic yell and a future is altered.
If the 'scream' involved anyone else, it would have passed without notice.
I hope he tries again. He has shown that he means what he says. I am now afraid the current administration does not.

It bothers me that Obama shut Dean out of the administration. He really left some good people hanging (like Dean and Wes Clark).

20. No, actually, it's not. All you're appreciating is his subordination to Obama. |
|
If he wasn't toeing your usual authoritarian leadership line, you'd have no "appreciation" for him.

21. Howard Dean is one of the reasons I am a Democrat |
|
The other is my beloved ChickMagic (aka ginbarn), who was all too patient with my political evolution.
I support Howard Dean. Now all we need is for our party to support him instead of dissing him.
