Police alarmed over graffiti claiming Calif. Gov. Brown to be killed on Valentine’s Day
Santa Ana police were notified Thursday of two different instances of graffiti threatening the life of California Governor Jerry Brown.

At 7 a.m., police were called about graffiti at one Greenville Street north of Alton Avenue, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.

"We gonna kill Gov. Brown 2 14 11," the graffiti read.

Later that day, an officer noticed more graffiti at 1700 W. Segerstrom Ave.

"The vandal spray-painted in red, '27 more days 4 Brown' and included a swastika, Bertagna said, adding someone later painted over the red '7' with a black '6' as if it were a countdown," CBS 2 in Los Angeles reported.

1. Alarmed? They are 'alarmed'? That's rich.
The whole country should be hopping furious at the level of cultural toxicity that is permitted in public broadcast space. Graffiti is simply their murderous culture spilling over into other generations.

Dirty rotten bastids.

3. We allow this proliferation of hatred on public broadcast space with NO responsibility
implied. It is hatred for profit and it's disgusting, and it gives those on the marginal edge approval and a mission of hatred. It's damn disgusting.

I'd recommend you watch season 2 of Arrested Development to see why I think this is a joke.

9. Actually, I've heard all I care to hear. Have a good, hearty laugh.
It doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy to come here and be associated with this kind of attitude.

Bye.

I honestly don't know what kind of attitude I've presented here. I dont find death threats warm and fuzzy. That's bullshit. You've obviously read way too much into this post. I live not too far from Santa Ana and I just cannot take anything that happens there seriously.

12. I'm not laughing it off.
No one gets to hurt my governor.

I was expecting better artwork/graffiti from Santa Ana, though.

14. I think I know what you
were trying to say about Santa Ana. I've lived in Tustin and worked and partied in Santa Ana.

15. I've partied in Santa Ana on more than one occasion.
I have close friends that live in Garden Grove.

16. Ever at the Nieuport 17?
I hung out with a lot of the young top notch lawyers (and their girlfriends and wives) in that area at the time. It was pretty useless fun, but a lot of fun, nonetheless. We kind of all lost touch, though, after the core group started having families. Three of us were pregnant at the same time, with our first. Time just seemed to fly after that.

2. By "gonna kill Gov. Brown" they mean they're gonna survey him. With surveyor's marks. n/t
