GOP Introduces Insane $2.5 Trillion Budget Cut Proposal, But Stumbles and Mocks Specifics
Where was all of the big talk about these cuts before the election?

The Republicans' blustery budget-slicing rhetoric that marred the midterm elections has finally come to pass -- only, when you break it down, it kind of looks like they have no idea what they're doing. The Republican Study Committee announced its plan yesterday to cut spending to the tune of $2.5 trillion over the course of ten years. While that number will certainly resonate with their base, the problem is they don't specify how they'll do that. 1. You know how a guy says he loves you over and over but he only wants to get in
your pants? Well, the GOP say over and over that they'll cut spending, but they just want to get in your US Treasury.

2. We can't cut $2.5 trillion over 10 years but we can spend over a trillion more than we take in in 1
year.

We are so screwed.
