1. Yep. Maybe the beginning of the crackdown on what's left
of any semblance of balance in corporate media.

3. Like O'Reilly said.
With the new Republican management there would be "changes over there".

6. See now, if everyone stops watching MSNBC, Ed, Rachel, Lawrence, and
any liberal view will be cut out of the line up, and the Right Wing fuckos (good term, BTW) will simper and coo "See? there's no market for liberal news shows, even while whining about how liberal the media is.

17. No. More like just dropped MSNBC from DishNetwork
and will be watching FSTV. This is viewer supported.

can't accept an intellectually honest person like Keith Olbermann and can only provide deceptive people like O'Reilly and Beck.

13. No, 'cause if they wanted to 'kill' him
Edited on Fri Jan-21-11 11:00 PM by jeff47
They'd have left his contract intact and taken him off the air, like they did to Schuster.

Instead, they negotiated an end to the contract. Reportedly the negotiations resulted in a 1-year non-compete. If MSNBC was really wanting to harm Olbermann, they wouldn't be cutting off the leash a year earlier than they had to, especially since it could put him back on the air just in time for political coverage to really take off for 2012.

18. That's what you say when your new company tells you
where the new line is drawn and you have enough integrity to tell them to ....

Randi did that when Air America wanted to change her contract. People with talent, integrity dance to their own tune.
