Something to keep in mind with the Olbermann situation. |

NBC has a bad track record with their talent. Just look back at Olbermann, Letterman, Conan, and Howard Stern. Each of those cases includes dishonesty on NBC's part. They almost always have or will try to screw their talent after the meltdown. I don't trust anything they say. I don't know whether comcast is involved, but it's not beyond NBC to lie. Also, expect Olbermann to sign some sort of non-disclosure agreement meaning we may not hear much from him.
EDIT: And if you notice, Letterman, Stern, and Conan have all gone on to major success.

Sounds like a good trade to me.
Silence ALWAYS reflects worse on the Bad Guy -- which, in this case, is Comcast/MSNBC.

3. It's not beyond Comcast to lie either. |

They've been caught lying about having proxy servers on their internet service. They've been caught lying about blocking bit torrent on their internet service. (just two things the come to mind off the top of my head)
