Keith Olbermann is gone but.... |
|
Bill Maher is still here.
We are not going to disappear.
Did anyone hear the closing on the Bill Maher Show tonight? He gave the Republicans hell for their policies. He gave Obama and the Democrats holy hell for their surrendering to the Republicans policies.
He kicked ass.
Just like Olbermann used to do.
The truth will not be silenced.

4. Just sayin'....most people don't watch the Maher show because it's a pay network. |
|
Many more people watch MSNBC.
Yes, ratings matter. It does matter how many people watch. That's the whole point of TV (these days, anyway).
I'm a terrific pundit in front of my TV at home, but not too many people get to hear my wonderful views, because there aren't many people watching me.

6. But all of America gets FOX on Basic Cable. |
|
When you are on 60% or more of the Basic Cable markets it's not hard to have stunningly higher ratings. But for them to claim it is because of viewer preference...? That's hard to say.
I don't think there is a single area in the US where FOX is not a part of the Basic Cable Package.
MSNBC is usually a part of the higher tier though.

9. Bill Maher is a liberal |
|
I know he called himself a libertarian before (notice the lower-case "l"), but that's because he wants to be free to smoke pot. If you ever watch his show, you know he's a liberal.

At least we have one super intelligent person on TV. I really think Rachel is the best I've ever seen on TV. She is rock solid and sharper than anyone she debates. And she's cutting edge cool. There is hope, losing Keith is certainly a blow but all is not lost.
