He got fired because he encouraged people to wear guns at political rally's. He got fired because he said 'shoot them in the head' when he talked about progressives. He got fired because he called Obama - Hitler. He got fired because he encouraged 2nd Amendment remedies.

Well then why the hell did they fire him?

I feel like we (and certainly KO) got the royal screw from them. I did sign the petition that was posted here on DU tonight. I also plan to make a nice little phone call to NBC in New York on Monday morning to voice my displeasure (and am hoping to get a person on the other end).

I'm sure those of us who post our online would be happy to do more, if only we knew what the hell to do. Sharing information with others with similar beliefs, yes, even sputtering, can certainly be a part of identifying the problem, which is necessary before one can hope to address it.


So, hows about some leaders step up on DU and organize support for some direct action supported by DU. I know there's the Activist DU thing, but it has no prominence. I'm sure the talent for such leadership is plentiful here on DU.
