I just woke up to see, read, hear of the news at GE/M$NBC/Comcast.

"Damned Liberal Media", the ignorant morons always scream. Sure this was the channel that aired Keith and Rachel, but it also was the base for Joey Scabs, Pat Buchanannaana, Mrs. Alan Greenspan and others. It's owned by Microsoft (cough-windows sux), General Electric who brings good things to life (tm), but also brings more things to death being a huge defense contractor, and now its been taken over by a cable company. The FCC and DoJ said that this merger would have few ill side effects.... How long has the merger been approved before the Reich wing's biggest enemy on tv was outed from that bastion of Liberal Media?

Rachel, I hope you've got your feelers out and are able to land on your feet as well in the upcoming weeks when the same happens to you. Hell, I hope you quit this weekend, but I'll understand if you do not.

Oddly, until TMZ was willing to print that it was the Comcast merger, I was reluctant to go with my gut.

TM, fucking, Z ... hehe... it's kind of a fucking joke, when you think about TMZ breaking the story.

Ahh well, the dumb-luck corporate coalescence that allowed KO to be on the air as long as he was was a small miracle... the market was bound to find a way to buy it up and turn it to shit. It's what the market does.

I'll just continue to shop around for my news from independent sources. I don't even have a problem paying for it. I'd rather pay than have my news "sponsored" by a war contractor, or a _______.
