lean left that they leaned forward and are about to land on their fucking faces. Keeping Buchanan and firing KO tells us everything we need to know about the so called 'liberal media'.

2. My guess is they'll force out Rachel within a year... |
|
...and they go back to being a distant 3rd place in prime time cable news.
In this case, it's not about ratings and ad dollars (if it were, KO would still be on). It's purely about ideology.:grr:

This is politics, but politics within NBC and MSNBC. Yes, it appears that the approval to comcrap may have been the catalyst here but it what effect is still unclear. The sense of this is that this is the continuation of long festering problems between KO and the PTB...and that the firing of Jeff Zucker may have more to do with this than we currently know. While the shock and emotion likes to find a political motive here, as one whose been inside the media circus I've seen internal politics and egos end up being the biggest cause for an abrupt action of this type. As they say in the teevee biz...stay tuned, I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more on this in the days ahead.
Cheers...

8. NBC politics drove the dismissal of Don Imus, or so I heard from Keith Olbermann |
|
Imus and his coterie verbally sexually harassed female NBC employees.

IMus publicly stated that NBC encouraged the vitriol for ratings.

7. As I pointed out so long ago...Leaning Forward was a Rumsfeldian favorite |
|
and I was told no, no it's just a phrase, Donnie and his ilk don't own the language.
Well, that later may be true, but to get the language out, you have to have a megaphone and it was ripped out of Olbermann's hands.
