Your thoughts, please.
on edit: subject line did not publish
Second edit: This question applies to any Republican President, also. Not just President Obama.

Do you think what people 'think would happen' influences what many people choose to do by intimidation?
It is actually backwards, if people are intimidated by 9/11 then they need to reach a point where that no longer intimidates them so they can do what they think is best.

For some reason, whenever something deplorable happens there are too many people all too willing to support shitty knee-jerk legisltion and shred our rights ust a little bit more. And everytime we do that, terrorists win.

7. President Obama will be impeached (regardless of the circumstances) |

Either that or the Republicans will spin things enough to ensure that President Obama doesn't win re-election (if it happens before 2012).
Fortunately, I don't see President Obama being as incompetent as the Bush (mis-)administration was and he would probably successfully thwart any massive attacks. Of course, as we've seen, even if he thwarts an attack, Republicans would still attack him for being "weak" and/or deny him any credit for having thwarted an attack. :puke:

8. I agree with you on the competence. |

I think the only way an attack can succeed at this point, is if our intelligence community is totally blindsided.

9. or a total lack of imagination |

Neither of which is likely to be a problem for the Obama Administration like it was for the Bush (mis-)administration.
