9. me too... I'm not going to go without my Rachel...
... just to make a completely unnoticed and inconsequential statement against Comcast. But she's the only one I'll watch now; I like Ed on the radio, but he's not on at a time I can watch TV.

4. Rachel's OK, but she's not Keith.
Keith is far more valuable to MSNBC's overall rating. Rachel is smart, but Keith was THE ANCHOR (pardon the pun).

6. MSNBC is joining FOX as the second
blocked channel on my satellite lineup...both because of letting Keith go and for adding that Cenk idiot.

10. Tough one. I agree with Cant Trust Em that Rachel is more 'valuable' - to me,
anyway. So much of what little I know is due to Rachel 'educating' me.

I'm not sure it would help US in the long run - if they lose a chunk of their progressive audience, they may move in more conservative personalities and then where would we turn?

Gotta think about this.

21. yes I agree with your comment
we don't want them to take the remaining progressives off the air. O'Reilly must be celebrating with Keith off the air. It maybe a long while before we see Keith again.

12. What I plan to do
I'll refrain from watching MSNBC during Keith's hour, to contribute to a decrease in ratings after his program is cancelled, and to show that the ratings he built can't be maintained by just any host. (I don't like Lawrence O'Donnell that much anyway.)

I'll watch Rachel every night, toward making them know there IS an audience for the liberal perspective. Maybe even Ed, if time permits.

And I'll watch the State of the Union on C-span so as not to contribute to MSNBC's ratings for that.

13. I've learnt a lot from the Rachel Maddow Show
Going to miss Keith though. I get the feeling he is going to come out on top somewhere else.

14. I already do.
TV is shit.
All of it.
***ESPECIALLY MSNBC***

At least Fox makes it clear that it has a fascistic corporatist agenda.
MSNBC has fooled a lot of people into thinking that it is somehow "liberal."
I'm glad Keith is gone, because now the network is showing its true colors.
Rachel is next.
Besides, I can watch the important clips of either of them right here.
I have never actually seen either one on that TV machine...

17. No. My political-oriented television watching is not based on
a single individual. I'll miss K. O., but I won't stop watching MSNBC. Cutting off my nose to spite my face isn't one of my deals.

by continuing to watch Rachel, you are telling MSNBC that it's okay what they did to Keith..

22. I won't watch either
I like Ed and Rachel a lot. But I can listen to Ed Show on radio, I like it better than his TV show. As for MSNBC and Comcast: I will NEVER NEVER NEVER watch or patronize them again in this lifetime. Keith Olbermann is irreplaceable and I am heartsick about his departure. Countdown was my TV appt of every week.

Although I like Rachel and Ed a lot, I will have to miss her and can listen to Ed on his radio show. I will NEVER watch or patronize MSNBC / Comcast again. Will get my news from the internet. Olbermann is irreplaceable.

24. Rachel? You mean Morning Joe...
This place has far more Morning Joe posts than it does Rachel posts. Obviously different times of day, and maybe I'm biased because I can see why people watch Rachel but don't understand people watching Morning Joe.
