Keith Olberman should be hired by Fox News.
Edited on Sat Jan-22-11 03:50 PM by cleanhippie
Seriously. If Fox truly wants to be "Fair and Balanced" they should give him a job, perhaps the time slot right in front of or behind Bill-O the clown. That way, Fox really would have a true opposition voice. Keith would add much needed credibility to that organization and perhaps even play apart in dismantling the wing-nuttery that prevails over there.

Your thoughts?

Perhaps, but if offered he should.
He would be the key player to the reshaping and re-education of the ignorant masses that watch that channel.

7. All righty, then!
But Fox ... Fox ... Murdock would have to have some kind of a brain pacemaker installed first.

16. Of course.
But don't you think the viewership would SKYROCKET? In the end, thats all he cares about...money...and it would bring in a lot.

18. It might; so it's not unthinkable.
Would right wingers really stop watching just because Olbermann was on there too? I doubt it, considering the machine they've built up. I don't think Murdoch cares if he is considered fair and balanced or not, as long as the money keeps flowing in, but if he could exploit the left wing opinion journalism market as well as the right wing one you can imagine him going for it.

Murdoch's political convictions are def. pretty right wing but take a back seat to business.

Honestly, you think they're going to upset their agenda by bringing him on?

6. No.
I am under no illusion that it would ever happen. Just thought it would be a neat idea.

Did you have something to say or just informing us that you can spell the word vomit?

11. Interesting marketing ploy
Fox would gain a huge viewership if Olbermann went there. Of course they may lose a bunch too...many don't like having their racist, hypocritial, nasty, hate messages side by side with refudiating chatter.

17. Yeah, but then we would have to watch OWN
I think I would rather be forced to watch Fox, Clockwork Orange style, than watch the Oprah channel.

21. Sounds like a great plan to me.
It definitely would help Fox's ratings as both liberals and conservatives would tune in to watch the fireworks.
