There is no Lib, CON, Dem, Repub, etc..

Excuse my hyperbole however...

There is only the multi-national Capitalist Party and it doesn't give a god damn about this country or it's workers.
In fact, it is the workers who stand in the way of their profit margins hence the flight to Indonesia and China for their workers.

For 50 years Capitalism was reasonably good to the USA but it has Internationalized and America is now fucked by the same monetary system it proudly proclaimed.
The tiger has turned and has it's "master" by the throat.

1. America is a fascist oligarchy masquerading as a republic.

6. On a national level, yes indeed. I still think there's hope on the state/local level -- that's not
yet lucrative enough for the powers that be to go after it yet. Yet.

7. It’s a big club and you ain’t in it
You and I are not in the Big Club.

Politicians are put there to give you that idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations, and they’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the State Houses, and the City Halls. They’ve got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear.

8. It's funny, but I was just having this conversation today..........
with my best friend. He's a more classic "liberal" and he was bemoaning the RWers and how stupid and one issue they were, mostly religiously oriented. I'm trying to get him to realize that it's not really a left/right issue. It's more a rich/rest of us issue.

Now I KNOW how frustrating it is to try and talk to some intransigent RWer who's poor. They've been SO propagandized by their churches, ALL of the governments, Dem AND Pub. of the last 100+ years, their friends and Faux Noise that they'd rather whine about abortion than realize that their standard of living has gone in the crapper BECAUSE OF THE CAPITALIST SYSTEM. But we have to try because that's the only way to reach the critical mass we need to CHANGE the system. FWIW, I hammer on the brown skinned socialist who gives out free health care that they CLAIM they follow in their churches on Sunday.

But it IS the single, overriding issue and it always has been no matter how well it was masked by the FDR reforms that we're swiftly losing. It boils down to us vs. them and the question that always needs to be asked is basic. Who's side are you on?
