He termed him "highly teachable." He said he has almost completely embraced the principles the GOP has long espoused - more troops, tax cuts, kicking the deficit can down the road . . . . .

Maybe I just need to get back to sleep. The whole fucking world has gone mad.

Oh . . . . . and for the internet asshole of the year: There is no "d'Allesandro Family." If you actually knew what you're talking about instead of making shit up, you'd know that while even little Providence had a family, Baltimore never did. You fucking moron. ~Stinky The Squid

emulate those same policies

13. Clinton actually fought the GOP tooth and nail
Edited on Sun Jan-23-11 11:02 AM by Very_Boring_Name
He compromised only when he had no alternative. Obama is the complete opposite. He goes into each fight making it perfectly clear that he's willing to give up the farm and then some.

38. Really, NAFT, the welfare reform act, the telecommunications act, and other wonderful deregulations
that he signed

I respectfully disagree with your assessment that he fought the GOP tooth and nail

He insured everything reagan started was a reality

8. Hey, it says the GOP is worried...even if they said this tongue in cheek.

Course I am worried too, because there is just a tiny bit of discomfort in seeing that Stein's argument can be made validly.

But remember, it's a statement from the GOOPERs. They are just being a**holes like they always are. They are a tad worried and floating a balloon trying to take credit for anything good that comes out of the compromises of late.

19. I feel exactly the same way about Kelsey Grammar
I really like him, both as an actor and a person. I scratch my head at the people who say they refuse to watch Frasier because he's a conservative. I may disagree with him 98% of the time politically, but he's not nasty at all in the ways he presents his views, and he's a hell of an actor.

Both men embraced many aspects of the right.

With the recent announcement that Obama has appointed GE CEO Immelt to his jobs commission, Obama has become a Democrat in name only.

Sorry to disappoint some here, the facts speak for themselves.

Best. "Republican." President.

Maybe Stein will keep repeating this until the 2012 elections. Wonder what impact it will have?

Will it drive Democrats away? Will it attract Republicans? Wheeee!
