Does anyone else think that 2011 might turn
out to be a year like 1968 or 1989?

Both of those years saw enormous changes. It just feels to me as if this year might unfold in some similar way.

3. Well, Nixon's dead...
...so we've got that going for us.

I have plenty to tell the grandchildren already and do not need more 'interesting times'.

11. But Tricky Dick was an angel....
compared to Boehner, Bachmann, and the rest of the Republicans.

4. I am hoping you are right-The GOP comes on strong, but they are already
falling apart and have not produced anything at all after all those promises and implications...I don't expect them to do anything worthwhile over the year, and they will be mainly campaigning against Obama for most of the time till the election...

I think people are getting tired of them already, too.

10. We've got to get back to the garrrrden. For real.

They shot us at Kent State. MLK. JFK. Told us to get back to comsuming, and our hippie sustenance economy was evil. Watch commercials, buy stuff. That became america. Now, if we said, Fuck ya'll. We ain't taking any of your usury loans. They would be begging us to take on debt. With low interest. Rejoin the sustainable economy movement, with all the whole earth catalog Kitch. Off the grid, being the goal. Preaching ergonomically humane lifestyles, and careers.

Then, the right heads will explode.

12. No - more likely the second half of 2012.
With the election that year and all the crazies thinking the world will end in December, I think we'll see at least a few major assassination attempts.
