Cantor refused to call people who question Obama's citizenship "crazy."
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor says he believes Obama is a citizen and that most Americans are beyond that question.

"I don't think it's an issue that we need to address at all. . It is not an issue that even needs to be on the policy-making table right now whatsoever," he said.

Appearing Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," Cantor refused to call people who question Obama's citizenship "crazy."

"I don't think it's nice to call anyone crazy," Cantor said.

3. It's too big a fundraiser topic for them to drop it.

Note how all the "responsible" Republicans say that they "believe" Obama is a citizen.... it's like a wink to the crazies that they know the "truth".

4. I'm going to agree with Cantor on this. What makes these types of lies so nefarious...
...is that many (even most) of the people who believe such things are not "crazy." They are perfectly sane people who believe crazy things.

They believe the things they want to be true. No amount of evidence could make them believe otherwise.

9. Or even "sadly mistaken" at minimun. Hell, even McCain was more honest back during
the campaign about it than this little weasel-worded prick is...

13. Boehner doesn't think he should call them out either
The truth is that the ReTHUG meme is to keep lying and spreading myths because they stick.

14. "sadly misled by fringe media" would have been a good thing to go with.
I agree that he was good to not label them as "crazy."

They would have run with that for weeks on the fringe networks.

8. Cantor...
While my distaste for cantor knows no boundaries....I think part of the problem is the ineptness of that tool David Gregory to nail anything or anyone down...hell...he couldn't nail down a thumb tack with a sledge hammer...
