They played well but there were certainly a lot of mixed signals. A NYC pal and I were tweeting during game. Being a Packers fan, honestly I wish the Jets were winners, but the Pack will beat the Steelers.

22. Chargers had the best defense this season
If you are going by total YPG.

Tidbit for you in the SB matchup. Pitt has the best run defense. Guess how horrible the GB run game is? Packers had the 5th best pass offense. Guess how mediocre the Pitt pass defense is?

The matchups would probably favor the Packers in this one.

51. Actually, if you look closely at the stats. Pittsburgh only gives up
6.1 yards per pass completion. Lowest in the league. They have an unusual amount of pass attempts against them because no one can RUN against the Steeler defense.

53. But they give up a lot of completions.
They are not in the top 5 for pass defense. The Packers have a shitty run game (though has gotten better). I just think the matchup favors the Packers as to the Pitt D. It should be a good game.

62. They give up a lot of short completions
Which is a good stat to have against a passing game. It's hard to defense a timed route.

I think most of the picks were on long passes, but don't feel like grovelling over the stats.

What Ben did or didn't do is a bad mark on the team but I hope he has matured and will never put himself or any girl in that situation again.

kanrok was not there, so therefore he cannot accuse "big" Ben of anything. Only the victim can. And as long as he doesn't do it again to her, or any girl in that situation, go "big" Ben.

but lots of teams play with as much heart without being obnoxious about it.

And Mark Sanchez...what was up with him?

picking a snot and wiping it on his teammate's jacket....

that one act right there demonstrated the whole Jets season. No class.
