Rahm's TV Ads For His Mayoral Candidacy - My Comments..... |
|
Watching the Bear/Packer game today - I saw Rahm's tv commercials for his bid for the seat of Mayor of Chicago. Watching Rahm talk on these commercials - it appears that he is on the verge of crying. The ads are really depressing from that point of view. I want a mayor that is upbeat and engaging. I can't believe that with the money that Rahm raised for this race - he's putting out such bad tv ads.
Is it just me and my mood or does anyone else in the Chicago area on DU feel the same way about his ads.

1. That "verge of crying" look is probably just his attempt to look "humane" |

Rahm is not known for being warm and fuzzy.
He's way ahead in the money and polls so he'll probably win
which is something I'm not happy about even though I live in the 'burbs
It's probably Chicagoans who should be on the verge of crying.:eyes:

2. There is a particular type of person incapable of reading or projecting a proper emotional response. |

But I'll leave any diagnosis to the army of armchair psychologists here at the DU.
