1. They voted for him but they don't like him?
What's making them mad?

2. What's making them mad?

The reality that they, the voters really screwed the pooch on this one.

But it's much easier to blame him, then to accept responsibility for their actions!

3. Inept decision making from the get-go

At first he wanted a private swearing in ceremony, only to reverse after public outcry.

After the swearing in, he proceeded in giving pay raises to staffers.

Decided not live in the governors mansion, instead opted for a sweet new security system in his Westerville home (which isn't too far away from the capital).

Created another bureaucracy to help create jobs (staffed by his business pals, of course).

He just seems in over his head.

5. Thanks :)
He also flip-floped on the non-discrimination executive order.

He left out sexual orientation, which he said he would not do in previous interviews with the press before the election.

7. Everything
He is cutting too many to the bone.

Here is one really sick story:

John Kasich ran for governor as a fiscal conservative. He promised to cut government spending at every level. Unfortunately, this seems to be his plan for the rest of the government while those closest to him are going to get big pay raises on our dime.

This morning I obtained a copy of the proposed salaries for Kasich’s staff and, compared to the equivalent Strickland staffers, salaries are going WAY up in the Governor’s office.

Strickland’s Communications Director Keith Dailey, for example, currently makes $89,003. While Kasich’s Scott Milburn is getting a bump to $120,000.

Press Secretary Amanda Wurst currently makes $69,992. Rob Nichols will get $90,000.00.

Strickland’s Chief of Staff John Haseley makes $122,990/year but Kasich’s incoming Chief of Staff Beth Hansen is going to receive $170,000.

http://www.plunderbund.com/2011/01/06/governors-office-salaries-going-way-up-under-kasich/

All this while cutting the salaries of nearly every other state position.

9. That's better than our newly-elected criminal...
Rick Scott's numbers are in the 20's.

That asshole put a hold on all DOT projects last week resulting in the layoff of thousands of folks across the state.

of the state. He is getting rid of education improvements made by Strickland. We are so screwed in this state it's not even funny. If I could find a job (3 yr unemployed) I would save my money and move the hell outta here.

12. Buyer's remorse in Ohio
I am from Ohio and I am still wondering how could a state, where there are 900,000 more registered democrats than republicans ever lose? We apparently didn't turn out to use the advantage and now we have an arrogant know-it-all running the state.

15. Either Democrats didn't turn out to vote or

There were some shenanigans similar to what was done in the 2004 election.

17. My experience with a lot of Ohio voters is..
they wait until the last minute to "learn" anything about the candidates and then just read headlines. They have got to be the most un-informed voters I have ever seen. I agree I WANT OUT!!!!
I also live among a lot of repug farmers who are afraid of loosing their subsidies, you wouldn't believe the loop holes they find to help them get their subsidies, but at the same time they scream about government spending. Typical teabagger country.:banghead:
