I'm having a bit of an argument with some family (damn I wish you could pick your family) and could use a bit of help with some information.

Specifically, I'm looking for things any Republicans have campaigned on and been touting that were from the stimulus that have helped their regions. Anything from Florida would be especially helpful.

Steve Benen at Washington Monthly has a few examples. Some poking around on teh Google can surely bring more results:

2. Thank you.
Yes, I'm getting ready for the work thing (thankfully) and just read the argument reply this morning from said family member. I plan to research my final answer to this idiot family member fully, but I know so many here will have links already bookmarked to some valuable info.

What amazes me the most about republicans is that they will rail against any help for the poor while in the same breath rally for any kind of handout for the rich. teh stoopud has no bounds.

Thanks again for the link.

4. I know for a fact
That stimulus funds saved many jobs in Florida.

You might look at some highway projects around Jacksonville. I think I saw a Repub taking credit for some of that stimulus spending.

New Mexico will be buoyed by at least $3 billion — if not more — in federal stimulus funds by year’s end.

But signs show the money is already flowing in.

As of Friday, contracts totaling more than $150 million in U.S. Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds had been signed in New Mexico, according to a database on the Federal Procurement Data System Web site.

6. Most egregious was Bobby Jindal in Lousiana
Refused some of the stimulus money--then attempted to hand it out like Santa as if HE were the one that allocating it.

BLITZER: Excuse me for interrupting. Let’s stay on the stimulus for a second. Louisiana — we just checked — they were getting, your state, $3.3 billion, part of the economic recovery, the stimulus money. Already, they have made, what, they say, $2.2 billion available. They have paid out almost a half-a- million — a half-a-billion dollars, $480 million. I assume, even though you — you hated the stimulus package, you’re taking the money, and it’s helping.

<<<snip
As ThinkProgress first reported, Jindal has been touring his state boasting about job creation, while simultaneously giving away jumbo-sized checks filled largely with stimulus money to local Louisiana communities. Jindal plastered his own name on the checks and until recently, did not even reveal that much of the money was from the Recovery Act. Below is a picture compilation of checks Jindal has presented to Louisiana communities such as Lafayette, Terrebonne Parish, St. Landry Parish, and Vernon Parish:
