I go back to work in the morning (sedentary)

It will probably be early January when I go in for shoulder surgery. 6 weeks with the shoulder immobilized on pain meds. 3-4 months follow up therapy. I have to clear a post therapy evaluation to prove I can still do my job, just like last time. Stay tuned.

4. Take care of yourself - I just broke my 1st metatarsal bone yesterday
and it's hurting like a bitch. I see the orthopedic doctor tomorrow and determine what treatment will work.

It's on a posterior splint and I'm not too happy with it - it moves too much. I'd rather get it completely immobilized.

9. It wasn't that long ago (your other surgery)? I remember that. Good
Luck with the next op and let's hope they 'fix it this time.

11. All the best!
My brother in law was just recently immobilized with an ankle surgery for 9 weeks.

Good luck; and here's to a speedy and healthy recovery process!

13. I'm sure it will go fine. Stick with the program as closely as you
can, and it will go as quickly as possible.

14. If they offer
a tens unit, take it. It works better than any pain pill and less addictive.

I was off the pills within 3 days.

Good luck.
