More proof that teabaggers can't think for themselves (steampunk Palin plagiarism)
Compare the "Steampunk Palin" dress to the "Steampunk Wedding" dress design by artist Britt-Lise Newstead, which was in her portfolio long before the comic was released:

1. That goes well beyond an homage.
That's straight up theft.

2. It's missing the frock, and the sleeves are longer
Probably enough to get away with it. They both look like the taller girl from Trigun, IMO.

3. Ack. Hard to focus on the fashion plagiarism, what with the overall screaming insanity. Wt*?

4. I'd never heard of Steampunk Palin before seeing this
I'm having a hard time working out whether the creators are serious Palin fans or whether the whole thing is a piss-take.

6. Umm, gosh
It reads like a parody of what a Teabagger comic would be like. What galls me is that it starts off with Palin surviving an assassination attempt. Umm, excuse me, it's not our side of the aisle that believes in shooting political opponents in the head.

8. Nonetheless, it reads like a satire
Sometimes it takes a True Believer to "inadvertently" mock the object of his or her affections.

as long as she gets to hold a symbol that looks remarkably like a gun...but of course, isn't one.

My fault for mistakenly thinking that's what it was.
