from the good folks at the American Family Association:

Chuck Norris: Obama orders study on socialism
Monday, January 24, 2011 12:10 PM

Under the radar last week was President Obama's executive order for a wide review of government regulations, in hope of showing that bigger government isn't bad news for economic growth and business.

Of course, the president didn't word it that way. In his op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal, Obama wrote that he just wanted to "make sure we avoid excessive, inconsistent and redundant regulation."

That sounds like such a great idea, doesn't it?

First problem, don't be bamboozled by wording. As cotton candy terminology can do, phraseslike "avoid excessive, inconsistent and redundant regulation" are candy-coated sales pitches. .............(more)

The complete piece is at: http://www.afa.net/Blogs/BlogPost.aspx?id=2147502550

Irony can now be retired.

It will never top that statement.

5. Not sure why I should care what Chuck or the AFA say: Chuck
played a Texas Ranger on TV and made money pretending to kick ass, but in my book that doesn't really give him much credibility as a commentator on any issues of substance; AFA pretends to be concerned about family matters but this kinda thing makes them look like advocates of corporate anarchism
