A special photo contest from DemoTex - one photo, many questions.
This is a self portrait. It is a mirror image (or more) of myself. It reflects how I feel about current politics. How can I say that with a simple B&W pic? Figure it out and post the answer below.

PS: Lots of little clues. Study the image well.

Spoilered in white (highlight to view):

Everything is drawkcab.

Which also happens to be true about American politics.

for the longest time.

21. I'm not particularly taking a stab at this, but as an observation;
From the perspective of the 'right' hand shot, the world is both black and white and backwards.

But you are shooting, in reality, with your left.

You are trapped inside the camera looking out at the inverted world. Or the viewer is. How can we know for sure. We are at the still point of the spinning world. Alternate universe stuff.

32. OK! OK! Bedtime. Here are the answers.
Edited on Mon Jan-24-11 10:10 PM by DemoTex
1. The political statement is in the hat emblem: Vietnam Veterans Against the War

2. Location: The photo (all one in the same) was taken below the Liberty Bridge in Greenville, SC

3. Composition: This is the kikker! The Canon 5D-Mk-II has a $2.50 automotive convex mirror on the lens cap of a big lens. I shot the photo with my old, old, old Nikon D-70.

4. Bwaa haa haa haa!

We all played your game, but since you put the picture out there, we all get to interpret it the way we see it. It's the burden of the artiste. And you are a fabulous artist, if this picture is any indication.
