It might be a better idea to explain why people that are gay are bad, if you group by groups. I think gay people are both good and bad like everyone else, and even if they were an enemy, then kindness including tollerance of Sumerian like different cultures would be a better teaching.

Note the word gay is also a label trap.

On a side not, not being gay, I don't know much about that topic.

However I have heard that love is fulfilling the law, and that some might be changing the traditions of the temple. And how that worries many people that do not think about the topic from the perspective of the teachings they say they follow.

So really I don't think it is about anything like some bodily action of sex in any judgmental form. So don't worry about that stuff.


I do understand how people find comfort in traditions, and most traditions are to help people, so if it is wrong, teach why it is wrong, then the groups that are said wrong would understand such a thing. Why say they are wrong if you can teach them why it is wrong.

Big Mary is more likely to be Irish than UK in general.

Fag remains predominant here for cigarettes. I've never known wuss to be used here in this context.

Personally I'd say the most derogatory expression has become the word gay itself.

The question is how to translate "maricon" into English: depending on country, it seems to carry a range of connotations similar to the American slang insults "sissy," "wussy," "girly man," "pussy," "faggot," "queer" -- that is, cowardice, over-emotionality, effeminacy, homosexuality; some of these are often shortened, (say) "wuss" or "fag." Slang in the UK and slang in the US, of course, differ: in particular, the meanings of "fag" or "faggot" are different on the two sides of The Pond; "fag" is only very rarely heard as meaning "cigarette" here and would almost always be misunderstood

I picked "Nancy boy" as a parallel to "maricon" because it also seems to have the same grammatical conflict of female name with identified male gender. I'm simply not familiar with Irish slang, and did not intend "Big Mary" as anything other than a more-or-less literal translation

and it did translate to Big Mary then in our case it would simply have meant wimp - nothing else. That's exactly , for example, how "big woman's blouse" is used here - wimp.
