Poll question: If you were voting in the 2012 Republican primary, who would you pick?
With SO many qualified candidates, it would be a hard choice.

1. …but your list doesn't distinguish between the candidates.
They all meet all of the criteria.

3. I wonder what could be your point in posting this push poll
that offers nothing but sliming any candidate who might run. Maybe you can explain.

6. "If you found out that DEMOCRAT candidate (name) stomped on kittens with high heels & smoking crack.
...would you be more or less likely to vote for him instead of GOD-FEARING Christian white Republican church-going candidate (another name)?"

I've gotten push polls that seriously were not much different from that.

As for your question, the "point" is simple. The GOP has nothing to offer in 2012 that can't be put into the same simple categories as every other candidate they've offered since Nixon. He was a little more complex - "slimeball son-of-a-bitch cheating asshole". The shrub fit into the "drunken wimp" category. McCain was in the "angry old fart" category. The GOP really doesn't have anything in the current field with any significant positive points - just simple categories.

7. unfortunately none of these will actually be on the ballot.
any of the actual possibilities with the exception of Palin will very likely defeat Obama.

11. We never saw him. He was just a voice on the intercom. And he was always stoned all to Jesus.
"This is Carlton, your doorman. Hey, man, like, ya know, there's like some dudes down here with like a package and some junk and they're like wondering if they can come crash at your place and drink all your beer, know what I'm sayin'? I get off at like 9 or something and, ya know, can ya save me a doobie?"

13. Michigan is an open primary state
and I plan on voting in the (R) primary for the one I think has the least chance of winning the general but still has a shot at the nomination (the airhead).

It is my answer to "Operation Chaos" from 2008.

Both would be better than any live Republican.
